Resident Lock Box Program

You never know when first responders might need to make an emergency call to your house. If your door is locked and they can’t get in, they will do whatever is necessary to gain entrance in order to help you. You can make emergency access easy by having a lock box installed outside your home with a house key safely hidden inside. The Ashland Fire Department has funds through a grant to purchase lock boxes at no cost to you, if you are interested.

Only the police and fire departments will be able to use the lock box.

You, the homeowner, provide the house key to be placed inside the box so they can enter your home. The fire department can provide assistance with hanging them if necessary.

If you are interested please see Susan in the Outreach office at the Senior Center or call her at 508-881- 0140.
