Numerous 9-1-1 calls were received for a tractor trailer fire at the intersection of Pond St (Rte 126) and Nickerson Rd near McDonalds. Cars 1&2 and Engine 2 responded and arrived to find a car carrier with the cab and a pickup truck well involved. Engine-2  stretched a 1 3/4" hoseline and quickly knocked the fire down.

Although the cab and the pickup truck immediately above it were a complete loss, thanks to the quick work of firefighters, the remainder of vehicles on the trailer were saved.
